The ancient boards are one of the materials necessary for the renovation of stairs, floors, wooden roofs. It refers precisely to the board or table top that serves as a base for walls or floors.
Traditionally, they are distinguished: blinded, used for walls and perimeter walls (which in ancient buildings are referred to as "field walls") and consisting of beams superimposed over the length; billowed, consisting of a wooden frame with jointed beams from panels, always in wood. Framed, in the case we find a wooden frame filled with bricks.
The antique board is provided to make partial or total replacements or remakes, maintaining unchanged the original aesthetic appearance of the structure that will accommodate it. It lends itself to an infinite number of applications, both in terms of wooden floors and beams, as well as cladding of stairs, counters and wall supports.
